This event is a fundraising silent auction to be held at Tony Roma`s in Banff to support cancer research and treatment through the Alberta Ride To Conquer Cancer.

Come enjoy a meal and drinks and bid on a wide range of valuable great activities and prizes donated by Bow Valley and Columbia Valley businesses including KPOW cat skiing, Banff Springs Hotel, Botega, Mt. Norquay, Kootenay Troutfitters and Toby Creek ATV / Snowmobile tours, a John Bonner Photography portrait session – and with more items still to come. The Auction Item List below will be updated as new items are added.

We are still taking donations of auction items and will be right up to the event. If anyone is interested in donating an item to the silent auction, please email Greta Hall at: grmhall@gmail.com

If you would like to stop by for a meal or drink at Tony Roma’s on the 26th, the staff are very generously donating all of their tips for the day ! In addition to hosting the silent auction, Tony Roma’s is donating gift certificates to the cause, we are very grateful for their support in hosting this event.

The Banff Cancer Crushers will be holding the first of three Karma Dog BBQ fundraisers at Nester’s Supermarket in Banff on Saturday May 12th 2012.

We will be there from 11:30am to 4:00pm serving up delicious BBQ Karma Dogs !! All proceeds go to the 2012 Ride To Conquer Cancer so c’mon down and have a tasty treat, earn some good karma and help us CRUSH cancer at the same time.

The final numbers are in !! The Banff Cancer Crushers 2012 spin-a-thon held at The Bison Courtyard raised $1404.05 towards our 2012 fundraising goal of $40,000 for the Ride To Conquer Cancer.

The Banff Cancer Crushers will be spinning their wheels and accepting donations at the 2012 Spin-A-Thon. This is our 2nd annual spin-a-thon fundraising event – last year’s event was super successful and we hope that it will be this year also.

Come on down to the Bison Courtyard on Bear Street, Banff on Saturday May 5th between 7am and 11pm. Jump on a bike for a while, make a donation and/or help to solicit donations from locals and visitors.

The Banff Cancer Crushers Earth Day Recyclables Drive was a huge success and raised $620.00 to support cancer research and treatment in Alberta.

Celebrate EARTH DAY 2012 by helping the environment and CRUSHING cancer
The Banff Cancer Crushers will be holding a recylables drive at the Banff Fire Hall on Earth Day – April 22, 2012. We will be there from 11:00 AM to 2:00PM
.
Please support the team and the 2012 Alberta Ride To Conquer Cancer by dropping off your recyclables during this fundraising event. It helps the environment by keeping these items out of local landfills and the proceeds will go directly to fund cancer research and treatment in the province of Alberta.

What it’s all about….
The Banff Cancer Crushers will be riding again in 2012. Our fundraising campaign kicks off today at The Banff Centre from 4:30 to 7:00pm at the Maclab Bistro. This is a chance to join the team, donate to support or just find out what it’s all about and why we keep doing this year after year.
2011 Banff Cancer Crushers at the Ride To Conquer Cancer Finish Line

The final team fundraiser before the 2011 Ride To Conquer Cancer was another BBQ held today at Nester’s. Despite the rain and colder temps (spring in the Rockies) lots of people stopped by for a “karma dog” . A huge THANK YOU to Nester’s who provided the hot dogs, pop, BBQ, tables and the location. Altogether the two BBQ’s held this weekend and last weekend raised an awesome total of $1080.00 for the cause. THANK YOU also to everyone who supported the events.
